Sani is only 45 minutes (80 km) from the international airport of Thessaloniki and only a 3 hours flight from most European airports. Thessaloniki is the second largest city of Greece and the capital of Macedonia.
Thessaloniki (also voted “Best Mid-Sized European city for human capital and lifestyle” by the Financial Times) is a 45 minute drive away from Sani Resort. It is packed with theatres, clubs, an International Film Festival, two contemporary art museums, galleries, designer shops and more coffee places than anywhere else in Europe.
Sani offers an ecological holiday escape with a bird sanctuary at the Sani wetlands; home to a large number of birds like migrating mute swans, black-winged stilts and little egrets. The surrounding area is ideal for bird watching, hiking, jogging and cycling. There are clearly sign-posted walking paths for walks through the woods.

With an open air theatre at Sani Beach, you can enjoy a musical extravaganza 5 times a week, try your hand at traditional Greek dancing, hit the dance floor at one of the beach parties or simply relax to the timeless tunes of the resident pianists. Musicals and 'West End' style theatre productions at the open-air Garden theatre - open to all guests at no extra charge. Garden Theatre has a capacity over 600 guests, a fully covered stage and its own bar and service. It operates 6 days a week ensuring that your entertainment needs are covered.

Sports
The Sani Sports Centre facilities offer 8 tennis clay courts (with floodlights), a mini soccer football court and a UEFA approved football pitch, a basketball court, table tennis and a beach- volley court.
The Sani tennis academy in collaboration with Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre offers single or group lessons for all levels and all age groups, tournaments, special lessons, show match exhibitions and a lot more.
The Sports & Recreation Team delivers fun group activities during the day like archery, bird watching, volleyball, aqua aerobics, darts, stretching, table tennis and many more fun games*- all guests are entitled to participate.
The Biking Academy by KTM Club offers guests of all ages a unique bike experience including the Fat Bike and Go-Pro cameras.
Get ready for an amazing treetop experience at the Sani Treetop Adventure, perfect for thrill seekers who like their fun up in the air. At our brilliant new adventure park, the excitement never ends with an exhilarating combination of zip lines and challenge bridges between tree platforms. The specially designed park features six courses – two training courses, two family courses and two youth courses – all colour coded and offering differing levels of challenge. The park has been planned with the latest safety systems in place and for personal safety there are minimum height and maximum weight restrictions. A wide variety of water sports are offered at the three watersport stations at Sani Beach, Sani Dunes and Sani Club, including catamaran, windsurfing, waterski, banana, canoes, pedaloes, ringos and paddle board. Parasailing and private yachts are also available for rent.
If you're in to Scuba Diving (or want to learn), you can enjoy the onsite Scuba Diving Academy certified by PADI, diving experiences for all levels. With professional equipment and certified PADI instructors, there's a wide selection of under-water excursions to enjoy, including a visit to a shipwreck.
Fitness enthusiasts also have a choice of 4 fitness studios. There are regular programmes and training regimes in place include personal training, yoga and aqua aerobics.
The Water Ski Academy also offers fantastic courses taught by instructors certified by the British Water Ski & Wakeboard (BWSW). Each course is aimed at specific levels and leads to one of its Cutting Edge awards - Bronze, Silver or Gold.
A fantastic option for learning new skills is the Survival academy by Bear Grylls. This provides children a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn expert survival skills within the unique natural surroundings of Sani Resort. With the guidance of Bear Grylls’ hand-picked team of instructors, children will build shelters and fires, learn to navigate and signal for help. This expedition is an exhilarating way of spending time with your family.
